2.    Cookies are not harmful. They do not contain any confidential information such as your home address, date of birth or credit card details. Cookies are an essential part of how our website works. Some of them are required by our website to enable you to transact whilst other non-essential cookies enable us to give you an enhanced web experience.

3.    A cookie is a file containing an identifier that is a string of letters and numbers that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

4.    We use WooCommerce that enables our online store. To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:

1.    woocommerce_cart_hash

2.    woocommerce_items_in_cart

3.    wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes.

The third cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer.

No personal information is stored within these cookies.

5.    We use both session and persistent cookies on our website. A persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date. A session cookie expires at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.
